‘True Blood’ season 7 spoilers: One major death comes early
“True Blood” loves to shock you with the way in which they kill characters off, and for the final season, you have to imagine that they are going to find a way to do that on a whole new level. No longer are they going to be feeling the pressure to keep a series regular alive just for the sake of doing so; instead, they will most-likely kill whoever they need to kill in order to get the ultimate story to where it needs to be.
According to TV Guide, the vampires infected with Hep-V are going to waste almost no time at all staking their claim in Bon Temps, and there will be a significant death in the early going. Obviously, this tease suggests that the deceased is going to be someone within the town, and that more than likely rules out both Eric Northman and Pam, who is off looking for him. However, that is just about everything that you are going to get out of this story for now. There are some things that are fun to tease, but ruining a big death is not one of them for a final season.
The purpose behind this killing is probably just as important as the actual killing itself, since this serves as pretty bona fide proof that the producers have no interest at all in playing it safe as we near the end of the road this season. They want to surprise you, and this is only the tip of the iceberg.
