‘The Bachelorette’: Eric Hill gets extended time with Andi Dorfman

While we are going to have more coverage of “The Bachelorette” later with our official review for the episode, we did want to start things off with the big news regarding Eric Hill.

This world traveler was the first recipient of a one-on-one date card, but as you may know already, he also passed away tragically after leaving the show in a paragliding accident. The series was still being filmed at the time.

The real curiosity that came with this episode was obviously how the producers were going to handle Eric given what happened to him in his real life. Were they going to leave in something dramatic, or was there anything that was dramatic to even show? Either way, the producers were kind and respectful. This entire date was sweet, even if it was almost exactly the sort of thing that you would have telegraphed to see on the show from the get-go. There was an element that there could be something more here, at least if the two really get the time to build chemistry and figure out if there is anything there.

If nothing else, we know that Eric made it through this week. However, he will be eliminated in the next several weeks, and that is not even giving away a spoiler. That is just based on the facts that are already out there.

Were there any potential problems that came up in the relationship? If so, it was only due to the fact that Eric was a world-traveler, and did not appear to be that ready to stay in one place.
