‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: Mark Sheppard receives series regular promotion

Take a look -Isn’t it about time that Mark Sheppard got a series-regular title on “Supernatural“? He’s been a part of the series as “King of Hell” Crowley for the past five years, and has delivered with a number of great storylines. At the end of the day, he’s the master really of being able to play both sides of devilishly evil and also devilishly cool.

The Hollywood Reporter was the first to confirm this week that Sheppard will be a regular for the tenth season, which puts the total for this show at four. That is around the number of regulars that many other shows carry, but it is very high for a series here that has at times had only Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles on board with this title.

This promotion effectively means that they don’t have to worry about another show sweeping in and booking Sheppard for an arc that could ultimately interfere with his plans with the CW hit. There are certainly plenty of opportunities for Crowley to do some decidedly evil things on the upcoming season, mostly thanks to the major twist regarding Dean (Jensen Ackles) becoming a demon at the very end of season 9. We believe that there is going to be plenty of opportunities for these two characters to work together, and you have to believe that the relationship could change now that Dean is more under Crowley’s jurisdiction.

“Supernatural” is not going to be on the air until the fall, but of course, we are going to have so much more news to report on soon.
