‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Andi Dorfman on approach, Eric Hill’s death, and more

Andi Dorfman -Tonight marks the premiere for “The Bachelorette,” and it is one that definitely has a different feeling all around it. There is optimism that we aren’t looking at the same season that we had with Juan Pablo Galavis on “The Bachelor,” but at the same time there is a sense of sadness after the death of contestant Eric Hill.

While Andi Dorfman has been mostly silent on the matter until now (it has to be a weird situation, given that you are typically not allowed to talk your season and he was sent home during it), she gave the following comment today in a TV Guide interview discussing the impact Eric’s death had on everyone while they were filming:

“We lost a family member and it’s been hard, [but] we are holding on to the legacy of Eric. He really did live life to the fullest and that’s something that every single person, cast, crew, production, you know, myself included will take away from Eric and his experience with them.”

On the romance side of things, Andi promised that there would actually be some romance, and not just a parade of people taking their clothes off and getting into the hot tub:

“Mine will probably be on the more romantic side. You will not see a lot of hot-tub scenes; it’s not really my thing. But I feel like you can be sexy by being romantic and it doesn’t need to involve bikinis and hot tubs.”
