‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3, episode 21 review: Are Zoe and Wade in danger … forever?
This has been a great week for “Hart of Dixie,” mostly because of the news that the series is going to be back for a fourth season. Hooray for more of life in BlueBell!
However, life in the small town was not exactly good for some of the characters, especially Lemon. After all, her work in the restaurant ended up falling apart when it started to burn, and this in turn threw a curveball into whatever Magnolia and Brick were going through. (Was this story random to anyone else?)
We know that most fans out there are going to be interested in the Zoe / Wade storyline for the episode, so let’s just go ahead and get to the big story here: Wade may be moving away in order to start a Rammer Jammer franchise. Do we really expect that this is going to happen? Personally, it seems to be a little unlikely. What we do see this doing here is creating a greater sense of urgency for the Zoe character. For the first time in a long time, she is confronted with the reality of having to make a choice. She can either let Wade go, or tell him how she really feels and possibly have an actual future for him. This will be very interesting to see in the finale, since it would be a very big move if there was a cliffhanger. After all, the show didn’t know its future when the last episode was actually filmed, so they had to make a big choice.
As for our overall take on this episode, it was a little silly at times … but the Zoe / Wade stuff in the end helped to make up for it. Grade: B.

I think that they were probably caught off guard a little with that renewal. But frankly its a show that can curveball most episodes with some ridiculous stuff. I do think Wade is gonna go to Atlanta, hes been struggling for many seasons with his ‘job’ of wanting to own a bar (Remember back in 1×21 he got knocked back for a loan. Now people are coming to HIM to make an investment.)
