‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Take a quick look at Andi Dorfman’s season
In the midst of talking about the tragedy surrounding this upcoming season of “The Bachelorette,” we really have not spent that much time until now discussing the upcoming episodes themselves.
The promo below may get you thinking about that aspect of the show, since it mostly highlights more of the positivity and fun that this show can bring, especially when it comes to the awkward / staged limousine entrances. Apparently, someone decided to snatch a lamp from the hotel and bring it to her. This is one of the more-innocent aspects of the show, given that only a few people manage to completely botch the opening, and from our vantage point, the right thing to really do here is not avoid a gimmick altogether unless you think that you are 120% capable of being able to actually pull it off. Unfortunately, most cannot, and that is why we’re stuck with awkward disasters a ton of the time.
For those wondering why in the world there is no cast reveal yet, we have to assume that this is coming very soon given that the May 19 premiere is less than two weeks away. It’s possible that the passing of Eric Hill has understandably changed some of the ways that the show traditionally does business, since they don’t want to be so insensitive as to promote silly things during a period of mourning. They may also still be figuring out how to handle all of this, since Chris Harrison said recently that he was a big part of the show.
There is no real easy way to transition from something so sad to a season of “The Bachelorette,” but it’s our job to give you coverage and we plan on doing just that. Along the way, we will of course have more insight into how the news away from the show is shaping the way it is presented.
