‘The Blacklist’ episode 21 video: An intense James Spader – Megan Boone ‘Berlin’ peek
When the next new episode of “The Blacklist” (entitled “Berlin”) airs on Monday night, let’s just say that you are going to learn quite a bit. The latest new promo guarantees that.
The first thing to keep stock in? That as it turns out Berlin is not so much a place as it is a person … and a particularly wicked one, at that. Regardless of why Berlin is, as in whether we have seen them before on the show or not, the real thing to take stock in is that this is one of the most notorious people to be seen on the show to date. They are connected to almost everything, whether it be Tom Keen, the blacklist itself, and of course Raymond Reddington. We saw this a little earlier this season with Anslo Garrick, and this is further proof that for almost every Big Bad on a TV show, there is always a Bigger Bad hiding somewhere out there.
Megan Boone and James Spader will have opportunities to act their faces off in these final episodes, and hopefully, we’ll have a great cliffhanger in the process for a second season. One of the nice luxuries that we are sure that these two were afforded while doing this season was the confidence that there was a very early renewal, and there was never a reason for them to really worry about this episode being a series finale.
Season 2 of “The Blacklist” will be back in the fall, and after watching the ratings trajectory of the spring, it will be interesting to see if it actually passes “The Voice” as the #1 show on Mondays.

RED’s character is the best thing abt this show. James Spader makes him exciting and intriguing to watch! Kudos to him for carrying the show on his shoulders with such a brilliant performance. Wld like the show to focus more on Red, his past and his interactions and relationships with other characters. Megan Boone’s perf is the weakest link on the show. She is not very good at emoting Liz’s feelings and mostly falls short

In my opinion everyone who is on “The Blacklist” is a star. The one I find most intriguing at present is Tom. Do he and Liz have a future? My son and I discuss the show all the time. He’s convinced that Red is Liz’s father…I, on the other hand, am not convinced because it’s too neat and will take away much of the suspense. That is what is so great about this series…anything could happen. Because there is going to be a series 2, I doubt that everything will be wrapped up neatly tomorrow. I’ve never been a fan of James Spader until now. His dead-pan and inscrutable portrayal of Red is perfect.

James is a much senior, accomplished and multiple award winning actor. It’s sad to see yr site not taking cognizance of that and putting him in the same bracket as Megan Boone. Also it’s a protocol everywhere , be it in media or in shows or in movies to take the name of the senior and top billed actor first which in case of blacklist is James spader. However yr articles always take Boone’s name first. That’s not right. You shld give due respect and recognition to an established, award winning star like all others everywhere do.

Totally agree with u! Spader IS the STAR of the show and the reason most watch this show. He shld be given the respect due to him. The show and the network too give him TOP billing and promote the show mostly using him as the USP!
