‘Arrow’ season 2, episode 22 video: A deeper look into ‘Streets of Fire’
In looking at the longer promo that The CW has released for Wednesday night’s new “Arrow” episode “Streets of Fire,” there is at least a little more footage in here. You get a general report on the state of Starling City with Slade’s army on the attack, and you also have a quick Quentin Lance sighting that was not in the initial short teaser.
The general consensus here, though, is the same: Oliver Queen and company are pretty screwed. The Malcolm Merlyn sighting is a pretty curious one, especially since he seems to be showing off a little more of his “nurturing” side in it. Is this a conversation between him and Thea? There are reasons to believe that.
- The official synopsis for this episode teases that Thea does come face-to-face with Malcolm at some point during the hour.
- Also, who else does Malcolm really care about at this point? It’s hard to really say.
There are also two separate Summer Glau sightings in here: One with her wearing the Ravager mask, and one without it. The latter is more significant, given that like Oliver, she actually has something to gain from a secret identity. If the CEO of Queen Consolidated is out killing people, that doesn’t bode very well for the rest of the company.
Regardless of whatever happens here in this episode, it is probably not going to be something that fully merits a firm conclusion. Most likely, the story will continue to build until we get to the finale “The Unthinkable,” which is sadly only a week away. We’re definitely going to miss seeing what happens next.

Diggle and Ravager (well, mostly their stunt doubles) are shown in the middle of a death fight. The last images show Ravager pointing her sword at a Diggle who is lying on the ground, and it looks like she’s ready to throw a fatal draw at him. I have to say, Diggle doesn’t stand a chance in a fight against a mirakuru-enhanced Isabel
And now the question is: will Diggle be killed? Or maybe Felicity saved the day (I wonder how though).

Since Diggle is driving the van with Felicity in it when it flips, he definitely gets away. It would be great if Felicity managed to get a few blows into Isabel, so I hope she does save Diggle.

Felicity needs to kick Isabel’s butt all over Starling City. That would be a win for me.
