‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7 spoilers: Leonard’s mom, Stuart returning for finale
The season finale of “The Big Bang Theory” on May 15 is going to be quite the major affair for the cast. Not only will there be a major story that put Sheldon’s future in jeopardy, but also there are relationship surprises, Howard making a choice about his mother’s future, and also some returning guest stars.
The first person confirmed to be back in the finale is Kevin Sussman as Stuart, who is one of the show’s most-familiar faces outside of the main seven. There have even been times on the show over the years where he has been a series regular. The other is Christine Baranski as Leonard’s mother. That appearance is most likely going to come over Skype, given that her work on “The Good Wife” in New York makes it very hard for her to be able to make appearances in person.
The synopsis below for the episode is not the longest one ever released from CBS, but we imagine that you will still find at least some of the details in it welcome:
“Sheldon is forced to confront an uncertain future and considers a major move. Meanwhile, Raj and Emily take it to the next level, and Mrs. Wolowitz’s injury is a major headache for Howard and Bernadette.”
Right now, it feels like the series does have a little bit of its mojo back. The Star Wars Day episode last night was one of the best episodes that “The Big Bang Theory” has ever done, and they’ve put many of the characters in an interesting, vulnerable place. One other thing that we’re so thrilled about is that the show has found a way to tell stories regarding couples that do not follow the traditional trajectory. For example, we are not seeing Bernadette and Howard strictly trying to become parents now that they are a couple.
