‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Chis Colfer on more Kurt – Blaine fighting ahead
Almost from the moment that Kurt and Blaine first moved to New York City, it has not exactly been the city of love for the two of them. As a matter of fact, it’s been the city of conflict and fear that the two are going to break up … and that is not going to be going away for at least the rest of the season.
Speaking to TVLine in a new interview teasing the story in the final two episodes, Chris Colfer shares a familiar line when expressing why he enjoys the conflict between the two characters … even though he is perfectly well aware that the majority of the fans may not:
“We pretty much fight up until the end of this season … I love it whenwe fight. It’s funny, the fans get upset with me when I say things like this, but we’re actors. That’s why we go to work, for the drama. I’m very happy when there’s some drama with them.”
One of the other reasons to us why we never particularly worry that much about the two of them is simply because even though there are constantly fights that happen, you still get the sense that there is love here, and the two are going to get through much of everything in their way. If they are always happy, then there’s no story to tell. (Plus, it’s unrealistic, even if “Glee” has had plenty of problems in that department with their giant pad in Brooklyn where everyone manages to live.)
The most interesting question to us will be where these two characters are come season 6, as there is supposed to be a time jump that happens at some point.
