‘Arrow’ season 2, episode 21 video: Summer Glau’s Ravager, more in ‘City of Blood’ trailer

More scoop -The CW has released a longer look at Wednesday night’s new “Arrow” episode “City of Blood,” and we have the same exact word to describe it that we used when we first saw the short clip: Epic. This is the hour where things are going to elevate to a whole new level of insane.

What’s interesting about this promo is much of the same thing that was interesting about the first preview for “Suicide Squad” in that just a tiny peek at a character can make you tremendously excited. The irony with “Suicide Squad” is that the footage that had people going nuts was of Harley Quinn, and she ultimately was not even in the episode save for her voice.

This time around, we can guarantee that you will be seeing more of Summer Glau as Isabel Rochev, or Ravager if you want to use her supervillain name. She’s had at least seemingly a short amount of time now to get used to the mirakuru, and she adds yet another component to the army of prisoners that Slade has assembled. Still, we wouldn’t be so willing to Isabel on the front lines; her value is more in running Queen Consolidated versus having just another person with a freakish amount of strength out there killing people. She can always make up some excuse for why she’s been gone fora short amount of time, given that everyone may be distracted for the time being courtesy of the death of Moira.

Speaking of Moira, this preview gives us a longer sense of the devastation that Oliver and Thea are feeling now over losing their mother. Will this be a chance for Oliver to really come clean about everything? At this point, it feels like there is no turning back for him. He may as well reveal the truth, that way if Thea dies, she at least understands who he really is.
