‘Arrow’ season 2 finale spoilers: Series boss on tying up loose ends
We’ve loved “Arrow” season 2, and found it quite possibly the best season for any superhero show to ever be on TV. But does this make this season a perfect one? Of course not. If there has been one major problem with it, it is that there has been so much going on that it’s hard to remember all of it, especially when it comes to what’s important and what is not.
But, according to showrunner Andrew Kreisberg, much of what you thought were distractions may not be distractions at all. Speaking to TVLine about the epic season finale “The Unthinkable,” a good percentage of everything that you’ve seen so far is going to end up being important:
“There may have been a lot of what seemed like detours this season, but it all plays out in the last few episodes … Hopefully, everyone will see the method to our madness and find the finale to be an exciting culmination of the season, as opposed to just a great episode.”
We want to take this to mean that maybe Amanda Waller and the Suicide Squad are not done yet, but that’s more of our own desire as a avid viewer of the show than anything that is for-sure happening. We can see there being closure for many of the new characters (Sebastian Blood and Sin are two good examples), but we would be shocked to see someone like the Huntress return before season 3. It all comes down to which storylines can be brought back that will further the battle of Oliver vs. Slade, and which are completely irrelevant to that. Helena and Malcolm Merlyn, for example, are two people who may not need to be dealt with right away.

Hoping that the loose ends they tie up will be:
* the end of the beginning of the Canary storyline, we need to move onto telling the transformation of Dinah Laurel Lance into the Black Canary.
* end of the Dr Ivo, Amazo, Slade/Shado storyline
* end of Brother Blood run for Mayor and his army of men.
* end of Roy Harper being loaded up with Mirakuru
* I think we shall still see Sin in Season 3, after all Sin is associated with Dinah Laurel Lance in the comics
* redemption of Moira Queen
* end of bringing down Queens Consolidated by Isabel, think Oliver will be close to bankrupt next season.
* complete closure on Oliver’s blind spot on Laurel, he had doubts about her which were generated over Brother Blood.
* complete closure of Barry Allen coma and story crossover.
New setups for season 3
* Laurel taking steps towards her alter ego.
* Connor Hawke introduced to Oliver Queen
* there was a mention of Ted Grant – Laurel’s future fight trainer.
* beginning of Thea starting her journey to become Speedy
* Oliver’s Russian experience with the Bratva.
Lots still juicy stuff to come in season 3.

Don’t forget an appearance from The Question as well. Also based on spoilers from what producers have said already about season 3, I’m thinking that he will completely be broke because they said that he will be in unfamiliar territory in the beginning of season 3 and that he can’t pay his personal assistant and bodyguard.

They alluded to the Question and a number of characters we haven’t seen this season, and Question was one of them.
I did say that Oliver would be close to being bankrupt.
