‘Survivor: Cagayan’ episode 10 preview: Can Spencer turn the tide … again?
While Spencer has occasionally done some things on “Survivor: Cagayan” that are a little irritating, such as his mockery of Woo tonight, he’s also proving himself to be an excellent player at this game. He’s a challenge threat, a smart guy, and it’ll be hilarious if he wins it given that Jeff Probst said he had no shot at this at all before the game started.
Next week, Spencer will do everything that he can to ensure his survival now that he has played his idol … and that includes making a plea to Tony. Specifically, he knows how to get under the guy’s skin: Make him really paranoid. Spencer’s going to try that, and we’re sure that it will somehow involve Trish and Jefra, given that the two of them have shown the least amount of confidence in his alliance lately. Woo is clearly with Tony, and Spencer and Tasha will need them both to make a move.
But, one last question: Why in the world would Tony make a move now? Spencer and Tasha are much harder to beat at the end, and they are also better in challenges. You get rid of those two and take your “top five” as far as you can, and you suddenly have a very good shot at emerging with a million bucks at the end of this. You just need to win a few challenges against Trish, Jefra, and Kass. Woo’s not someone who seems capable of taking Tony out, so we’re not even going to mention him as a possibility.
At the end of the day, Spencer and Tasha are just going to need a Hail Mary, and maybe this is it. Regardless of what happens, it looks like there is going to be one fun episode ahead.
