‘Suits’ season 4, ‘Royal Pains’ season 6 premiere dates released by USA

Sometimes, USA does some delightfully ironic things when it comes to their scheduling. Did you know that the wait between the first and last half of “Suits” season 3 is going to be almost twice as long as the wait between season 3 and season 4? It’s crazy, but also true. The legal drama is returning earlier this summer than it did in 2013, and we have news about some of the other returning favorites as well … including one of our favorite breezy summer shows in “Royal Pains.”

Tuesday, June 10

9:00 p.m. Eastern – “Royal Pains” season 6

Wednesday, June 11

9:00 – “Suits” season 4

10:00 – “Graceland” season 2

Tuesday, June 24

10:00 – “Covert Affairs” season 5

Thursday, July 17

9:00 – “Rush” (new series)

10:00 – “Satisfaction” (new series)

All in all, this is a pretty nice schedule, but we do still have some questions. The biggest one for us is why in the world you are not separating “Suits” and “Graceland,” and using each as a launching pad for the two new shows airing on the same night. Are you not confident enough that “Graceland” will perform on its own? (We still don’t care for the name of the latter, mostly because it doesn’t quite make you wonder about anything other than Elvis.)

In case you are wondering about the “White Collar” premiere, it won’t be until at least the fall. Given that the renewal came so late, there are still scripts to be finalized, and filming has not even begun yet on the final six episodes. Personally, we wouldn’t even be shocked if they air in early 2015 like it is the bottom half of the season. (There are still fan campaigns to get the order extended, but we haven’t heard anything new or different on that front.)
