‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’: Kenya Moore may choose to walk away after fight
While we may not be 24 hours removed from the epic, super-disappointing fight between Porsha Stewart and Kenya Moore on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” it has been weeks for some of the ladies when it comes to sitting and around and stewing what happened … which in turn is going to lead to them having something a little more insightful to say after the fact.
We’re not going to say that the new interview featuring series star Kenya Moore to the Associated Press in any way is perfectly, mostly because it is not. However, we do at least appreciate that the reality star took the right amount of effort and attention into the fact that what she did was wrong in the moment with Porsha, and understands that there are consequences that come along with it:
“We all agree that we don’t condone violence … We’ve become angry with each other, we’ve threatened each other and gone to the edge. But at the end of the day, we know there’s a line.
“If there are no consequences, then where does it end?”
These comments to probably have something to do with the recent legal battle that has erupted over this situation, which is going to likely continue long after this season is over. We stand by our belief that engaging in a violent situation with another cast member should lead to an instant dismissal, but we also understand that not everyone in the reality TV industry feels that way. There’s a fine line for many between what is over the line and what is acceptable, and had the fight not been pushed in the way that it was, it may have been something that they were comfortable with having on TV and moving forward with the cast.
