‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: Scoop on the island, the finale, and possible deaths
“Arrow” is firing on just about all cylinders as we approach the end of season 2, and while there are some pretty incredible things going down, there is also plenty of potential for things to get even more jaw-dropping. You have multiple villains, a Mayoral election, characters from “The Flash” running around, and something that will serve as a tease for season 3. It just hasn’t been revealed what that “something” will be just yet.
This article is all about the finale coming up in a few weeks entitled “The Unthinkable,” which is not exactly the two words you want to hear when you are Oliver Queen right now. If you’re him, you want a title like “The Predictable” or “The Celebration.” “The Unthinkable” suggests things hitting the fan. Here are a few additional teasers via executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, and these are probably not the sort of things you want to hear if you have hope for some of these characters to have a happy future. (These come via TV Guide.)
1. There is a very real possibility that a character will die … and it could be characters.
2. “There’s a couple of massive surprises for the island.” What else can happen on this place that would surprise us at this point? Eventually, we have to imagine that Sara is going to separate from Oliver, since she does train with the League of Assassins.
3. Some “familiar faces” are going to come back to aid Starling City in the fight. Is Malcolm Merlyn one of them? We at least know that he will be coming back, but could the Suicide Squad, as well? The last one is just a dream, but one we’d love to see become a reality.
