‘The Following’ season 2, episode 14 preview: The shocking buildup to finale

The writers and producers of “The Following” really seem interested in having you do one thing right now: Watching the finale, and doing so live. This is one of the only ways that you can ensure that you don’t get spoiled about anything.

With this being said, it is still a little strange / surprising that the show would really press this much to get live viewers when you consider that the show is already renewed. They also want to make sure that you use the hashtag below in order to tweet along with the cast and the crew.

So what can we say for sure is going to happen in these final episodes? Obviously first and foremost, you are going to have to deal with the aftermath of what Mike Weston did to Lily at the end of the past episode, which was a terrifying moment that made him much more like Ryan Hardy than he would have ever wanted to admit at the start of the series. There also wasn’t that much of a reason to really do that other than rage, as Lily was going to go away and pay for her crimes. (Maybe, given that the law enforcement on this has this nasty habit of either being easily corrupted or just downright terrible at their job.)

It’s already been teased that the show’s season finale would feature Joe and Ryan actually working together in some capacity, and with that, you have to think that Claire is going to be involved. She is the only person out there they both care about.
