‘Doctor Who’ season 8 spoilers: A tease of what’s to come from Peter Capaldi, cast
It must be hard to be the production crew for “Doctor Who,” given everything that you have to put up with. Unlike America, where you have enough popular worldwide shows concentrated into one place that the paparazzi cannot really focus on any individual thing, there’s not too many other huge shows filming in Wales, and it’s not too hard to get to from the rest of the United Kingdom. In other words, you’ve always got a ton of people snooping around filming.
We’re going to hold true to what we’ve said in the past about sharing spoilers from production, and that is that we’re not going to give everything away. This is a show that relies heavily on imagination and whimsy, and it seems cruel to deprive people of that beyond just a few teasers here and there. This is why we are going to reduce some of what we’re going to give away about at least one episode (potentially the one written by Mark Gatiss) as follows:
1. There are scenes taking place outdoors, seemingly in the setting of the woods. What’s important about this is that it could allow for multiple time periods, and also plenty of wiggle room for the producers to work with.
2. As a whole, there are many outdoor scenes that have been shot for this season, which is a bold move considering how they know Peter Capaldi and company will draw a crowd.
3. There are new villains, and while the show looks to stay in touch with its roots, they also are trying to give you something that you haven’t seen before after so much nostalgia back in 2013 with the 50th Anniversary Special.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: I’m a longtime fan (30 + years), and I’m pretty sure Peter Capaldi is going to be the best Doctor yet.

Let the sounding off begin:)I have been a fan of this show , steadily since a part of the 9th Doctor’s shows aired on SyFy ….then the company that handles my Television picked up BBCAmerica…..Several shows have tickled my fancy…..Top Gear, Being Human, but none touched me, teased me, or intrigued quite like Doctor Who….the thought of being able to go places and alter things just a bit….Oh the joy! Bring on Capaldi , let me fall in love all over again!
