ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: See Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion in ‘Law & Boarder’ photos

In just six days now, the long “Castle” hiatus will be at an end courtesy of “That 70’s Show.” While the title alone may just make you think of Red Foreman wanting to put a boot up someone’s rear end, this is going to be one of the more interesting episodes just from the standpoint of the costumes. If you thought “Mad Men” was really diving into the era, just wait until you get a look at this.

Well, what we have to talk about today are the first photos from “Law & Boarder,” the new episode airing the following week on April 29. Admittedly, there is a part of this story that is going to feel exceptionally predictable with a “person with a random job dying” (this time someone in the world of extreme sports), which in turn forces Castle and Beckett to dive into a community that is new to them.

The one thing that we’ll say here is that when it comes to lighting first and foremost, it’s awful nice to see the two characters soaking up some sunshine for a change! It feels like it’s been a while since they got out and in the thick of it. This could be a really fun story depending on how it goes … but given that you’re looking at the 21st one of the season (or the penultimate to the penultimate episode), we better get some sort of reminder that there is meant to be a wedding coming up. With the title for the finale being “For Better or Worse,” you know that it’s getting addressed again. Let’s just hope there is the right sort of buildup for it.
