‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Chris Colfer’s episode now has a name

New scoop -There are only 20 episodes in “Glee” season 5, and thanks to that, the one penned by Chris Colfer is going to be airing very near the end of the season.

So what do we know about now? Really, it’s all in a name. In a post on Instagram, Colfer himself confirmed the news that “Old Dog, New Tricks” was going to be the episode’s name. That is significant mostly because it’s a little more of a playful title than what we have seen most of the rest of this season. A lot of the titles, whether you look at “Bash,” “Tested,” “Puppet Master,” or “New Directions,” have been pretty short and not entirely descriptive. Also, you have a few others like “A Katy or a Gaga” that are downright ridiculous and remind you of the darkest timeline that the show was in a little earlier on this season.

There are a variety of different interpretations that you could take when you see this title, but to us, the biggest one is just “change.” Right when you think that you have learned everything that there is to learn about someone, they manage to surprise you. Colfer’s Kurt is someone who could use some new tricks, but so could some other stuck-in-their-ways characters like Santana (Naya Rivera) or even Sue Sylvester, if the show is able to find a use for Jane Lynch in the Big Apple.

What do you think about the title for this episode, and how excited are you to see what Colfer brings to a story that has been slowly improving as of late?
