‘Arrow’ season 2 podcast: ‘Deathstroke,’ drama, and speculation with Jessa

The “Arrow” podcast has officially arrived! As promised, CarterMatt co-founders Matt Carter and Jessa are going to each be here with you the rest of the season to collectively break down everything that happened, along with speculation of what certain events may represent, and what could be coming down the pipeline in Starling City.

Before you tune in, a brief preface on what the podcast will be so you don’t get ambushed by anything.

1. The comic books – We’re not going to dive too much into anything that happens in the comics here, mostly because “Arrow” tends to deviate from what the Green Arrow comics did. We will occasionally use them as a reference point, but will not go too much further than that most of the time.

2. Spoilers – If The CW has released it officially, we’ll talk about it. Otherwise, we’re not going to spoil anything that is floating around on the internet via set pictures. We will occasionally mention other shows, and this episode contains a few mentions of “Dexter” season 7 and the “How I Met Your Mother” series finale. We don’t ruin anything too huge, but it’s better you know in advance.

This episode, being the first one, is almost like the day of school when you arrive and introduce yourself to everyone. We also give general impressions of the series, characters and storylines we enjoy, and a certain villain we are very sad to no longer have as a part of the story anymore.

We’ll have a new episode every time that there is a new episode to talk about, so we’ll be back following “The Man Under the Hood” when it airs on April 16.
