Our ‘Once Upon a Time in Wonderland’ season 2 dream’s a little bit different…

Wonderland -Tonight, ABC is sending off “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland,” a show that could’ve been a big hit for the network if it hadn’t been put into an impossible position almost from the get-go. This is a show that really should have aired on Sunday nights during the “Once Upon a Time” hiatus, but that didn’t happen. Instead, the show had a bad timeslot, and had a very bizarre schedule on Thursday nights.

So had the show been more successful, what could we have seen? There are a number of different ideas / possibilities out there for this:

1. A show set in a different world entirely with new characters. While we know that this was not necessarily the intention, it’s still what we would have been very happy to see. Imagine the possibilities for a “Once Upon a Time in Oz” or a “Once Upon a Time in Agraah”? There are so many different worlds that we have seen on “Once Upon a Time” itself, and the bummer about losing this to us is the lack of a chance to have this made into an anthology.

2. A show that was a continuation of what we had this year. We know that this was designed to be more of a standalone series, but the initial plan was for a new story to be created in this universe in the event that it had been renewed.

We did prefer #1 as an option, but to be honest, we would have preferred either one of these to what we actually have.

If there had been another season of the show, what would you have wanted to see: Something in a new world, or a continuation of this story?
