‘House of Lies’ season 3 finale spoilers: Marty, Jeannie’s honeymoon ends

Even though the world of “House of Lies” was rocked very recently by the death of Lukas, it started to appear as though things were actually started to turn around for the characters. After almost two full seasons of “will they or won’t they?” drama after they first hooked up, it appears as though Marty and Jeannie are finally together.

Will they actually give their relationship a shot now? In the first look at the season finale below, the two at least acknowledge that they are going to give this a shot, and it was not a drunken fling. The unfortunate part of the equation is what happens from here: The big reveal that the feds are coming in with warrants, and are ready to shut down Marty Kaan and his company altogether.

Is it possible that Caitlin could be behind this? That is what the preview at least wants you to believe … but that may not be the case completely. There are some other candidates out there who have a motivation to get Marty shut down, with Dre being one of the biggest ones. After all, he went and tried to warn the guy’s wife that he may have had Lukas killed. This sort of stuff spreads, and in addition to him, there are also plenty of other people who want a piece of Marty Kaan. That’s what happens when you are very good at this job; more often and not, you make your fair share of enemies.
