‘Big Brother Canada 2’ debate: Talking Adel’s power; when live feeds will return

Adel -As we said earlier in the day when we posted our last “Big Brother Canada 2” update, we’re going to at least try to keep you up to date on some topics related to the show.

At this time in the house right now, the Nomination Ceremony has surely happened already, and we have already missed most of the fallout that we will probably not see until Wednesday. Even then, we’re probably going to get only a few minutes of it thanks to there being such a shortened show. We’ve already said that we think blocking the feeds is a bad idea, but we know that the producers have put thought into this. So let’s just leave it at that and move on for now.

The first thing that we want to answer is that the live feeds are seemingly going to come back after the nominations are made in Canada Sunday night. They haven’t waited for the West Coast before, so we have no reason to think that they will start now.

Finally, let’s chat one thing that we would not be surprised to see when the feeds come back: The Power of Veto Competition being over, and Adel having played his power. There is going to probably not be a better time for him to play it than this week. Kenny has a decent chance of playing in the Veto, and presuming that Sabrina and Andrew are the nominees, he needs to ensure that Kenny cannot win. The only part of this that is confusing is if he can play it before all names are drawn for the Veto (say for example Kenny’s name is drawn and no one else’s has yet); the other thing is that if he is already drawn to play and then Kenny’s name is drawn, he just better hope that either he or one of the nominees wins it.

As for whether or not it will cause people to drift from Adel, we don’t really think so. It wasn’t a malicious lie that he told about the strength of his power, and he had to protect himself somehow. It’s not like he took away letters from home or anything.

We’ll for sure be back to cover the “Big Brother Canada” episode tomorrow night (you’ll be able to read our review at the link here), and we may be back with even more before that. Stay tuned. As always, you can also sign up now to get more updates via our CarterMatt Newsletter.
