‘Big Brother Canada 2’ exit interview: Ika Wong on gameplay, Heather, strong players

Ika -Are you going to miss Ika Wong in the “Big Brother Canada 2” house? We know that we are. Regardless of whether or not we agreed with every decision she made or word that she said, she was at least trying to play the game. Not only that, but she was very entertaining. You always want at least one person who is going to enter the game and try to stir the pot, and there is no doubting from this vantage point that Ika did that and then some.

While she is now out of the game, the silver lining of course for us is that we just got an opportunity to chat with her in an exit interview about her time this season. Ika was thankfully game to dish about almost anything and everything, including what caused Heather to become such an unusual target in the first place.

CarterMatt – We could go through here and talk about regrets or moves that should have been done, but the reality is that it’s so hard to know who to trust in there and it’s hard to question that after the fact. What I’m more interested in knowing is how difficult it was for you to figure out who was telling you the truth, and also who was not.

It was so hard. I didn’t like the girls I was working with, but I figured I was in an alliance and I was working with them, and I can trust them and there were numbers. I did not trust them personally or liked them personally, but I at least trusted that we could make it a could of weeks together. So it’s hard. Honestly in my head I was like ‘they’re all liars,’ so I tried to take what they say with a grain of salt.

So what was the source of the animosity with other? We saw some of that, but we never really got a sense as to the origins. Was it Sabrina running around and saying things about her, or something else?

When I first got into the house I really liked Heather … We were bedmates! But Sabrina started running around and saying that Heather hates us, and was saying that Heather was doing all this stuff. It wasn’t that I wanted to evict Heather because of what Sabrina was saying; it was just that I wanted Paul to stay in the house. So I thought it Heather went, nobody likes her anyway and it wouldn’t ruffle feathers, Paul would stay and be a number for me, and we could go after the bigger guys.

Who do you think is playing a really good game that nobody is really talking about?

Honestly I would say that Sarah is playing a really good game. She’s in this strong alliance, and she has the targets and the threats. It does take the target off of her. I also think Arlie’s playing a good game. He’s in a strong alliance, but nobody’s really looking at Arlie and his conniving ways. They are really looking at the big threats like Kenny and Andrew. So I think Arlie is doing a good job.

Heather’s not bad either! Heather is playing a floater game, she’s acting like she can’t do much and is so sweet, but there’s some fight there in her. And of COURSE, Adel is gonna kill it! Adel’s game is golden.
