‘Teen Wolf’ season 4 shocker: Daniel Sharman not returning as Isaac

What's next? -Teen Wolf” has a devoted following and some very popular leads, but for whatever reason, it also seems to have one of the highest cast turnover rates out of any major drama on TV.

If you think back to last year, the show lost Colton Haynes as he moved over to “Arrow.” Then last week, we said goodbye to Crystal Reed and the role of Allison as she also wanted to move on to other things. As the title indicated, Daniel Sharman is now joining the two. Isaac lived through the entirety of the third season, but he is not going to be back in Beacon Hills when the show returns to MTV in the summer.

So what is the reason for Sharman making the move to say goodbye? Speaking in a new interview with E! News, show boss Jeff Davis confirmed that the actor asked out of his contract for much of the same reason that Reed did:

“Daniel Sharman came to us, much like Crystal did, and said that he wanted to go out for pilot season and for movies and try something new.”

Davis also added that Isaac is not going to be killed off on the show, which was the request of Daniel when he first discussed to him his desire to move on. The good thing for the show is that this allows them to be even more creative, and think up some more possible solutions as to how it is best for them to work with the characters that they do have. Obviously, the flip side of that is that they have lost another person who many of the fans loved on the show.
