‘Teen Wolf’ season 3 finale spoilers: Dylan O’Brien on Stiles’ journey, romance

Teen Wolf -Tonight, “Teen Wolf” season 3 comes to a close on MTV with an episode that has quite a bit of ground to cover. If the show wants to try to tie up their loose ends regarding the death of Allison, the state of Stiles, and if Kira is a part of the story long-term, they have their work cut out for them. Some of this is inevitably going to bleed over a little bit into season 4.

Speaking to TVLine, one thing that Dylan O’Brien emphasizes is that Stiles is really far out of the woods when it comesto the Nogitsune within him, and the problem with that is the longer it stays, the longer that it takes hold over him:

“Well, the void spirit is getting stronger, and with that, the real Stiles gets weaker. He’s essentially fading, so it’s mostly about that for Stiles. His priority is to kill the Nogitsune, and he’d rather die than continue to be responsible for so much destruction. At the same time, they still have no idea how to kill it, so…”

We are still confident that the show will find a way to do away with this, if for no other reason than that we have a hard time imagining that the fandom is going to be able to handle both losing Stiles and Allison in two consecutive episodes.

For all of you romance-lovers out there, O’Brien also suggested that for the time being, Stiles’ heart is probably still with Lydia (even if she doesn’t have the same feelings for him). As for Malia, she will return to the show … but presumably not until the fourth season.
