‘Arrow’ season 2, episode 16 video: John Diggle meets his new team
On Wednesday night’s “Arrow” episode, the story of John Diggle will get a few more wrinkles added to it. “Suicide Squad” is going to be a pretty different episode compared to what we have seen as of late. While Slade Wilson will be involved, it will be more under his alter ego name of Deathstroke. Meanwhile, Oliver Queen is not going to be the star of the episode at all. Instead, the honor goes to John Diggle.
David Ramsey had a heck of a busy time filming this episode, which features him working with Amanda Waller of ARGUS and his new team of misfits … all with a criminal past. As the sneak peek video below shows, Diggle is going to have a pretty significant issue with the fact that one of the men he is tasked with is none other than Floyd Lawton, who is responsible for the death of his brother. He is having to do so much more than check his ego at the door; he is also having to check any sort of leftover rage and resentment that he has. (We really cannot blame him for that.)
One thing that is conspicuously absent from this sneak peek? The presence of a woman who was interpreted by many to be Harley Quinn. It is not actually confirmed that the footage of her, seen in a recent promo for the episode, will actually be featured in the episode at all. This may have just been a nice little Easter Egg for fans, mostly to hint at something that the show may or may not decide to pick up on down the road.
