‘Big Brother Canada 2’ interview: Nate Sandri and Scott Bosse
Thursday night was a rather busy one when it comes to “Big Brother Canada 2.” Not only did we end up saying hello to Allison White as a member of the house, but we also said goodbye to a pair of houseguests who never really got a chance to actually play the game. Scott Bosse and Nate Sandri were instead two guys who spent most of the last week locked within the War Room, and not allowed to do much more than watch the other houseguests and wait for Canada to pick their favorite.
Now that the two are officially not a part of the season, we had a chance to speak with each one of them briefly as a part of a conference call this afternoon. If you are looking for an interview with Kyle Shore, have no fear: We’re going to have that for you soon soon over at the link here.
CarterMatt – Scott, let’s start with you. What did you think about Allison in the time that you got to know her, and how do you think that she’s going to do during the game?
Scott Bosse – We tried to give each other a boost in that hateful room. I didn’t think for one second that she didn’t have the right to be there. She so did. She has a tremendous physical, athletic figure about her, so you know that she could be a challenge demon. I also saw that [other side] … she came up with the funniest term, a ‘resting b**chface,’ where you just sit there, and her face is not moving and it’s just resting and it’s a total b**chface. She could serve some serious hardcore b**chface …. I could see that in the room. There were days where I could tell that she was really holding back her desire to be hateful.
Nate, what sort of impressions could you really get from the houseguests watching them? There was only that quick scene that you heard, and the rest was just .
Nate Sandri – It was a great clip that we did see; it told us a lot. But when you’re watching that TV and there’s no sound, all you can do is go off the body language and how they look. You got to be kind of judgmental in a sense. That is hard to do, because [someone] could be the kindest people, but by the look of them you think of them as some sort of jerk a***ole.
But to be honest, that one clip that they gave us was awesome and it filled us in. It divided the house, and we saw that.
Finally, what was just your overall take on being in there for a week? You had such a unique experience, and I’m assuming that you guys are going to be friends for a long time.
Scott – I think that the bond has definitely been established. I’ve been saying all along that being a part of the twist this massive was really rewarding and really humbling. I did feel an honor in it, even thought it was a hateful twist and I would’ve much rather watched it from the sidelines. But being in that room really forced us to bond because it was somewhat traumatic, I’m not going to lie. I was cuddled up to a blanket that would have made an SOS pad feel like chinchilla fur. It was really bad in there, but we supported each other.
Nate – Definitely BFFs for life. When you spend so much time with people and you get to know each other, you tend to become close. It’s just really hard when you leave each other. The camaraderie that you get just supporting each other through that week is great. They couldn’t have picked two better people to put in there with me; we just bounced off of each other. We all had a great dynamic, were our own people, and we made the best of the situation.
