‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2, episode 17: We talk a mystery episode
At some point, “Beauty and the Beast” is going to be on the air with another new episode, but herein lies the biggest problem with talking about it right now: There is almost nothing to share at the moment when it comes to that story. There is no press release, no video, and no confirmed premiere date at all. This episode is somewhere off of the grid.
So rather than try to beat around the bush on a mystery story, why not tell you right now what The CW’s plan for this story might be? At the moment, that is much more effective than anything else.
1. The network’s schedule is technically booked from now until the end of the season in the summer. Therefore, there is no timeslot for the show yet.
2. The spot to watch is later this month when “The 100” premieres. If it tanks for whatever reason, there could be a timeslot open. For now, though, this show is going to be on the air until June.
3. If there is no spot for “Beauty and the Beast” the rest of the spring, we could see it airing the rest of its episodes in June or July … which probably doesn’t bode well for the future of the show. The last thing you want is a summer burn-off, but the show unfortunately just hasn’t been getting big numbers. We know there are loyal fans who love it, but there needs to be more of them watching live.

Can’t watch live if Time Warner Cable keeps removing the CW from it’s channel offerings. Very frustrating!
