‘Big Brother Canada 2′ live feed spoilers: Thursday’s vote, and is there really a girls’ alliance?
Compared to the last few days of pure insanity, life in the “Big Brother Canada 2” house today is actually pretty quiet. There are a few interesting things to discuss, but for the most part, houseguests are already starting to look ahead at the future of the competition rather than dwelling too much on Thursday’s vote or some of what has already happened.
Why is that happening? The biggest reason is because at the Veto Ceremony, Kenny (who really didn’t need to win the power in the first place) used his necklace on Neda, and Kyle is officially on the block with an extremely high likelihood of going home. There is absolutely zero reason whatsoever to actually keep Kyle over Paul at this point, given that he’s somewhat more popular, a stronger physical threat, and has more allies. Paul is basically useless, and will probably go up on the block every week until he eventually goes home. His ultimate ceiling here is the jury, but we have a hard time thinking that anyone wants to sit in a jury house with someone who has lied about more or less everything in his life.
The other fascinating thing to do right now is trying to figure out whether or not a girls’ alliance is actually something that is happening. Ika seems to be in some ways the ringleader of it, but not everyone in this group (which includes Rachelle, Sarah, Sabrina, and Neda) fully enjoys her company and her attitude. Also, Sabrina and Sarah have another alliance in the First Five that really seems to be where their loyalty lies.
The one thing that is helping most of them get along? Having a common enemy in Heather, who has gone around and said random bad things about other women in the house to each other. Nobody really likes her, but she’s not a threat to really do anything and will probably coast for a while, even longer than Paul. The biggest floaters in this game right now are probably Heather and then Jon, who has some allies, but nothing that is altogether set in stone.
