‘The Amazing Race 24’ preview: Is this the most dangerous leg ever?

If you have an affinity for either danger or watching racers become petrified beyond all stretches of the imagination, then you are bound to enjoy the new episode of “The Amazing Race 24” airing on CBS Sunday night. This is an episode set in Malaysia that will feature a rowing / rafting challenge, and it could leave one team struggling to the point panicking.

To be fair to Brendon & Rachel here, they actually have a legitimate reason to be upset over falling into the water here. This looks terrifying, and while she may have the necessarily equipment to ensure that nothing truly dangerous could happen to her a la drowning, you still don’t want to be floating around in rocky water.

This challenge looks quite frankly terrifying, and one that many of the teams are going to struggle with. They have some sort of dart-shooting task back on dry ground. This doesn’t look to be particularly difficult, at least when you figure out how exactly to do it.

We assume that just about every team is going to be on a level playing field going into this week, and things are competitive enough that any one person could struggle. Obviously Brendon & Rachel have an incident that could slow them down, but since when has “The Amazing Race” given you a team in their previews that has ended up going home (two weeks in a row that is)? We just had that with Mark & Mallory, and we really don’t need to see it again.
