‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: New Lea Michele, Amber Riley, and ‘Louder’ scoop

There are a couple of “Glee” stories that we want to get to today, and the each have a common theme that binds them in Lea Michele.

We’ll start, though, with the big news that actually circles back to the show itself: She is shooting some new scenes with Amber Riley? Lea confirmed it recently in a post on Twitter, which can be taken as some sort of further verification that Mercedes is going to stick around a while longer beyond the 100th episode of the show. Her first appearance of 2014 is actually going to come in episode #99 entitled “City of Angels,” which you can see a photo for here. It’s rather nice than Ryan Murphy is at least bringing back some more of the original McKinley High students as the show really tries to make that transition between being a high school show and a New York one.

For Amber, this just means even more time for her to be on TV, given that she has technically clocked more hours of airtime this year than any other actor on the show thanks to her gig on “Dancing with the Stars” this past fall.

Now for some music news. Just in case you want an extra incentive to listen to Lea Michele’s debut album “Louder” now, here’s a suggestion: Just head on over to the link here  to Lea’s iTunes page, which is streaming the entire thing. The disc comes out on March 4, which is really not that long to wait at all if you’re a diehard fan. The deluxe edition as a whole contains 14 tracks, which run the gamut from pop to more soulful adult contemporary music.
