‘Arrow’ season 2, episode 15 preview: Exec on iconic Oliver Queen – Slade Wilson moments
Wednesday night’s new episode of “Arrow” is one that certainly has a lot of hype around it at the moment. How much do we mean this? Let’s just put it this way: According to what some of the show’s stars and executive producers are saying, this may be one of the best episodes they’ve ever done … if not the best.
The episode is entitled “The Promise,” and executive producer Marc Guggenheim says in the video below that this is easily one of the biggest stories that they have ever done on the show. They have recreated an entire freighter so that the showdown with Dr. Ivo can be replicated perfectly, and there are two very iconic moments for the series that are going to happen here.
1. This is the first time that Oliver Queen is going to put on the Hood, even if he is not at the point yet where he is ready to actually be the hero that he needs to be.
2. This is al the first time that Slade Wilson puts on the mask to become Deathstroke. We know that this is ultimately his destiny, and that is who he is in the present-day Starling City.
This entire preview is based in the past; while we know that Oliver and Slade will have some interaction in the present this upcoming episode, it is still to be seen what that will be. There is also another interesting person in here in Sebastian Blood that has to be accounted for at this point … but for the time being, Oliver thinks that the real villain has been destroyed once and for all.

I think Ivo is gonna capture and inject Ollie with some type of truth serum, which makes him spill the beans about Shado’s death when Slade is in earshot. Chaos ensues, friendships end, and things explode. I’m psychic, by the way. lol
