ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 3, episode 11 preview: Will James ruin Cyrus?

Is there a more dysfunctional relationship out there than Cyrus and James on “Scandal“? It’s pretty difficult to seemingly encouraging your husband to sleep with another man, and having a number of blow-up fights that happen well before this one even does.

The sneak peek below from Thursday night’s “Ride Sally Ride” is just another example of just how insane things are going to be for the couple, given that James has an opportunity to sell out his husband to David Rosen, even if he is going to be getting quite a significant promotion in the White House as a result of the new “deal” that the two parties have made. There have been some crazy things set to happen here, especially since at the center of everything right now you have Sally Langston. This is, after all, the woman who is almost at the center of everything right now … including the episode’s title of “Ride, Sally Ride.”

Hopefully, by the end of this episode we have a greater understanding as to what her game-plan is really going to be, since right now it’s hard to really imagine her being able to cover up what happened to her husband forever. Then again, you also have to consider that this is also a show that made it seem impossible for Olivia Pope to move forward after what transpired with the press finding out her secret. Somehow, they also manage to find a way.
