‘The Originals’ spoilers: Prepare to meet young versions of Klaus, Elijah

Meet the cast -When you get a flashback episode for “The Originals” that showcases the Klaus and Elijah as kids, one thing you know right away is that you are flashing a long way back. It’s been centuries upon centuries since they looked like anything that was not Joseph Morgan or Daniel Gillies in the roles.

Therefore, this calls for something that you would certainly expect to see given the situation: New guest actors! According to the Alloy Entertainment site (which has certainly its own connections to “The Vampire Diaries”), young actor Perry Cox is set to play the part of Young Elijah on the upcoming 16th episode of the season, which is entitled “Farewell to Storyville.” That is something that almost vaguely sounds like something you would get on another show in “Once Upon a Time.”

For those curious, some of Cox’s other credits include “Drop Dead Diva” and “Revolution.” Also, we like to think of the video below when we hear the name “Perry Cox” (hooray for “Scrubs” references).

So what about a young Klaus? What we know for now on that subject is that this role is going to be played by Aiden Flowers. He’s done some movie roles here and there, but is not as familiar to TV audiences. There’s no word on whether or not we are going to see a young Rebekah in the future.

What do you think about seeing a young Klaus and Elijah? Are you excited, or more wary because kid actors on TV don’t exactly have the best history of all time? Share your thoughts below, and click here if you want to see what the show’s producers have to say about Tuesday night’s new episode.
