‘Glee’ season 5, episode 9 video: Adam Lambert, Naya Rivera, and ‘Frenemies’ drama
With the return of “Glee” Tuesday night creeping ever closer, now is the time that Fox is being so kind as to starting to release some of the first little photo previews as to what to expect.
After a few pretty-weak teasers, it does eel now like the video for “Frenemies” really gives you quite a bit of good stuff, in between Santana and Rachel going at it for “Funny Girl,” Tina and Artie battling it out in an intellectual battle at McKinley High, and Adam Lambert returning as Starchild … and immediately causing more problems for Kurt. This conflict is the most interesting and one-sided, at least in that for the most part, Starchild hasn’t really done anything at all to be aggressive towards Chris Colfer’s character; instead, it seems to be almost all based on some of Kurt’s own jealousy.
Do we think that anything is really going to be resolved in here? Not really, and mostly because there is still so much more of the show to go. It’s crazy, really, to think about this only being the ninth new episode of the season coming up. The vast majority of the show’s run is still to come, and even if they air a new episode every week, we are not going to be without “Glee” now until well into May. That is the longest consecutive run of new episodes that fans have ever had, and the indication out there is that there will still be 22 episodes to this season, despite the lower ratings and some of the production delays early on this season after Cory Monteith’s death.

I wish they would get more viewers, because I really like Adam’s character and the New York story. I just can’t wait for Adam to be on again and hear him sing a duet with either Kurt or Rachel. Adam and Rachel together will be epic. I hope people watch.

It’s about time. I’m a huge gleek, but they have (& had) what too many “breaks” & its hard to get back into it when their “breaks” happen so frequently. I think that’s also a bg part of the reason that Glee contines to lose viewers.

I agree. When our excitement is already boosted up, suddenly the frustrating hiatus comes. The hiatus is also so long that we sometimes forget that the series will actually come back alive on screen again.
For whatever reason please don’t create more breaks until the season finale.
Plus, I wish to see Kurt singing solo (he hasn’t sung any solo this season), and strong development comeback for his character, so that his role and screen can be as prominent as Glee season 1+2.
I see some old episodes and solo from Kurt season 1+2 and boy they are so mesmerizing. Would love for it to re-occur.

So how do we as existing gleeks pass our frustrations w/way too many breaks to the people behind the show? The glee gods like Ryan Murphy?
