‘The Bachelor’: Nikki Ferrell, Andi Dorfman buck show edit, perception; are great friends
There is always something that you have to remember when you are watching a show like “The Bachelor“: You are getting two hours of a story that took place over the course of several days every episode, and you’re also forgetting about a little something known as down time. What are these ladies doing when Juan Pablo Galavis is off with someone else? Think along the lines of sitting around and chatting with each other.
After all, there’s only so much you can do during your down time. The show cuts off most communication with the outside world, and you are not really given that many diversions. Therefore, most of what you have to do when your guy isn’t around is either think about them, or spend time chatting with the others. Plus, you make good friends.
So in spite of what the show tried to present you with on Monday night, it turns out that so-called master of negativity Nikki Ferrell actually made some really great friends as a result of the experience. She said as much during a series of messages on Twitter after the fact:
“Y’all are right I wasn’t there to make friends…but then I did. The best friend for life kind of friend @AndiDorfman … And @kellytravisty and @sharleenjoynt and who can forget @KatHurd for her guacamole making skills and @christyhansen_ on braids #friends”
That is a pretty good percentage of the contestants who made it really far in the competition, right? It’s also proof that Nikki was pals with at least two other members of the show’s final six. Instead of showing us some of the friendships what we saw was the fight with Clare Crawley. People getting along is not good TV we suppose.
