‘Supernatural’ season 9: See Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins in ‘Captives’ photos
A week from Tuesday night (otherwise known as February 24), “Supernatural” season 9 is going to be back on the air with what could be an interesting episode in “Captives.” Not only will this accelerate some of the stories going on right now when it comes to the Men of Letters’ history, but the return of Bartholomew could also potentially serve as a source of valuable insight into Castiel’s present situation, and what could be coming up next around the bend in the battle over Heaven.
In case you haven’t had an opportunity to do so to this point, take a look at the synopsis below for the official synopsis:
“Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are stunned to discover the Men of Letters’ bunker is haunted. Their investigation leads them to a storage facility where the demons have been keeping a prize possession. Meanwhile, Castiel (Misha Collins) is captured by Bartholomew (guest star Adam Harrington). Jerry Wanek directed the episode written by Robert Berens (914).”
We do wish that these photos were in the end a little bit more revealing, mostly since save for the one above, they don’t really give you too much of an inclination one way or another as to what is coming up. Then again, this is also one of the more story-drive episodes we have had in 2014, so the last thing producers likely want to do is share everything about what is coming up so far in advance. (We’ll get more, including most likely a sneak peek, soon enough.)

The pics look to me like Bartholomew and Castiel are discussing something that Castiel isn’t altogether against (like working together).
