‘Glee’ season 5: See Chord Overstreet rock out with Demi Lovato during ‘Neon Lights’ tour
While it may not be clear if Demi Lovato is ever going to return to “Glee” to film some more new episodes, we can at least say that she clearly still has some good friends in that world. The new video below is proof of that.
In the video below, you can see none other than Chord Overstreet join Demi for a performance of her hit “Made in the USA” while at her San Jose stop of the “Neon Lights” tour, which started just this past weekend in Canada. It really should come as much of a surprise that Chord has this amount of serious guitar (and apparently singalong) skills. After all, just remember here that not only is he a cast member on “Glee,” but also that his brother Nash is a member of the band Hot Chelle Rae, who produced the hit “Tonight, Tonight.” With a name like “Chord,” you really better hope that you are actually a great musician.
The other notable thing about this video? Chord’s hair, which is getting closer and closer to Fabio lengths as time goes on. Is this part of Sam Evans’ hipster New York look? At the moment, the suggestion is that the character is going to be one of the crew hitting up the Big Apple and staying there past the thirteenth episode of the season, which is when graduation will take place at McKinley High. From that point, you can expect a potential time jump so that many of these characters can be situated again. (That at least makes some sense to us, even if it would be interesting to see what happens to some of these cast members over the course of the summer.)
One little note here: Chord and Demi have actually been friends for a long time, even before he was a part of “Glee.” So there is a connection that goes back there for a while.
