‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: The silent battle between Oliver, Moira Queen
Did you really think that things were going to cool off between Oliver and Moira Queen in the near future? If you did, we have some rather disappointing news to share with you today: That tension is going to keep going strong on “Arrow” season 2 the rest of the way. As a matter of fact, some of that tension that you recently experienced between these two characters may merely be the tip of the iceberg for them.
Speaking to TV Guide, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg teases that the new-found knowledge that Oliver has about his mother, including that Thea is the daughter of Malcolm Merlyn, is going to create such a tension that will almost be palpable to anyone and everyone:
“She still really hasn’t had her come-to-Jesus moment, despite what you think would be rock-bottom… and that’s coming … The cold war between Oliver and Moira is not going to go unnoticed by anyone.”
As for that supposed tension between Oliver and Felicity that was going to be caused by the latter blowing up her operation, that seems to be more the result of Moira merely trying to intimidate her than something that was actually going to happen. We haven’t seen any of that come up yet, and at this point, we really doubt that we will. Stephen Amell’s character has been through so much that dealing with something like Felicity telling him the truth is not going to phase him.
