‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: Want to see Ichabod Crane outside of the town?

When “Sleepy Hollow”does return to Fox with all-new episodes starting up later this year, one thing that it definitely looks as though you can expect to see is a focus that is a heck of a lot more panoramic. Rather than just expose Ichabod Crane to the confines of a small town, which does have some elements firmly rooted in the past, the character could be transporting around to see all sorts of other parts of this world.

This is something that Roberto Orci himself expresses in a new interview with TV Guide, where he tries to discuss some of what interests him as an executive producer about the character:

“It is the beginning of expanding the reach of the storytelling. Also, not just for the mythology and evil coming to town, but Ichabod [Tom Mison] seeing the rest of the world is just a fascinating thing to do. He’s only seen [so little] of our modern society through the lens of a town that resembles his own town to a great degree, except more Starbucks. Opening it up is absolutely something we hope to do.”

Can you see Icabod trying to deal with the skyscrapers of New York City? He will for sure travel to other parts of New York now thanks to what happened to Captain Irving at the end of the season, and while we cannot specify that any one particular location will be used, we do imagine that Crane will have an opportunity to be exposed to all sorts of crazy locations and things that he would have never before fathomed. This show is still serious at the end of the day, but these sort of fish-out-of-water scenes give you just enough humor to keep things from every being too serious or weighty.

Where do you want to see Ichabod head to next, and are you excited for the new “Sleepy Hollow” season? We want to see some of your thoughts below!
