‘The Tomorrow People’ episode 14 video: Exec on what’s next for Stephen, Marla

Is Stephen’s life changed forever again now on “The Tomorrow People“? That is probably the best way to look at it when you consider all of the crazy stuff that has happened in his life as of late. We’ve seen him be forced to deal with Ultra for some time now, and he has struggled to try to create these sort of conflicting personas of who is he is with his family, and also who he is when it comes to his private life.

But, it may be easier for him now to handle the two worlds thanks to one simple thing: His mother Marla now revealing that she has powers. In the preview video below, executive producer Phil Klemmer suggests that the major reason that she had hidden them for so long was due to her own desire to try and start over and have some sort of normal life, and not one that was going to be completely dominated by having to use her powers and fight off her brother-in-law Jedikiah.

One of the other loose threads dangling out there right now is John, mostly because of some of the abilities that he does possess. This is a guy who, unlike the rest of the Tomorrow People, can actually kill. That almost immediately makes him a weapon and an asset to almost anyone who can convince him to join them. Suffice it to say that even though he is no longer in the same spot as many of the others with powers, he is still one of the most significant assets out there if his powers can be harnessed and handled in the right way.
