‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: Boss teases an important Oliver Queen line
While this “Arrow” hiatus continues until Wednesday, February 26, allow us to come in and present at least one little snippet of dialogue to potentially have you even more excited than you were before: “You’ll always be my girl.”
There are so many things here that are open to speculation, but what we can tell you for now is that it was posted on the Twitter account of executive producer Marc Guggenheim, along with a notice that it is for the show’s first episode back (entitled “Time of Death”).
Now, let us get to actually trying to figure out just what this means … and who could actually be saying it. After all, are there not more than a few possibilities here?
Felicity – We know that this is who most people would want to see him say it to, but this is also the person that he is the least likely to utter the words to. He’s known her the least amount of time, so the word “always” does not seem to be right … even if the hope for many is that he will end up with her forever.
Laurel – This one makes some sense, given that he and Laurel have such an extensive romantic history together. Plus, we could see this totally being some sort of extremely patronizing comment by Oliver in the event that he tries to talk to her about being with Sara again.
Sara – Hey, they are seemingly close to being an item again, and that is something worth talking about. Salacious as it may have been, she was also the last person he was with before the two arrived on that island in the first place.
Thea – Obviously, here it wouldn’t be romantic at all … but it is still a possibility to very much consider.
Who do you think could be saying this line? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below, and also head over to the link here if you do want to see some more “Arrow” scoop on what lies ahead.

He’ll say that to Felicity. Oliver will say it after Felicity gets jealous of Sara.

Im thinking he says that to laurel, because of somthing stephen amell said about a scene that will be in episode 14 between oliver and laurel. “We are really continuing to tell [Laurel’s] story in [episodes] 12, 13, and 14. It culminates in 14 in a scene between Oliver and Laurel that, for me, I think — I reserve to change my mind — it might be my most favorite scene we’ve ever shot on the show. It’s a new kind of scene for Oliver and Katie was fantastic in it. I can’t wait for people to see it.” quote from EW

I can see why that would make a lot of sense. The only reason I think it could be something else is because saying that to Laurel would be somewhat predictable, and the Arrow writers have generally been pretty good at twists that people don’t expect.
