‘Supernatural’ season 9 spoilers: More reaction to Snooki’s appearance
In the age where almost all guest stars are advertised in the press weeks and weeks before they premiere, “Supernatural” really pulled off quite the amazing feat when it comes to getting Snooki in for a cameo appearance. No one seemed to know about it at all when the promo came on the air Tuesday night; if they did, it must have somehow been overlooked in the midst of everything else going on.
As for what sort of role she is going to play, some sort of demonic version of herself seems to be a good guess based on her quote about “whatever happens in Hell, stays in Hell” in the promo for the February 25 episode “Captives” below (in case you hadn’t seen it already). Overall, though, the experience seemed to be a great one for all parties involved. In a post on Twitter, Snooki referred to the gig as “amazing,” and seemed to enjoy the fact that almost everyone was surprised about the guest gig. Also, co-executive producer Jim Michaels also shared his thoughts on working with her following the reveal:
“Yes, @snooki is going to be in an upcoming episode of #Supernatural! It was truly a delight to meet and work with her!”
For all of those who are worried about her being on the show for whatever reason, the simplest advice that we could hand out would be for them not to be. After all, Snooki clearly knows that this appearance is meant to just be good fun, and a little bit of an opportunity to jab at what the public perception of her may still be after all of these years. The only real shame is having to wait for so long to see it.
