‘The Walking Dead’ season 4: Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun on that Daryl / Glenn tension
Is there a part of your brain that secretly wants to see Daryl and Glenn on “The Walking Dead” run into one another’s arms? We’re sure that someone has probably written a little bit of fanfiction about this already (and by “someone,” we mean probably a hundred or so people), but now Norman Reedus and Steven Yeun are actually talking about it.
In one of many glorious videos from last night’s appearance of many of the actors on “Conan,” Yeun opens up to Conan O’Brien about how he could hilariously see this whole romance unfold. Conan and Andy Richter end up adding their own suggestions, as well, just to make things all the more entertaining. Eventually, Reedus comes out and says that he is all for it … which leads to a little bit more in the way of comedy.
In reality, you have to get almost all of the comedy that you want to get in possible now, mostly because of the fact that there are some pretty dark storylines ahead for Yeun, Reedus, and the rest of the cast on the show moving forward. The characters are all isolated from one another now for the most part after the destruction of the prison, and ust as you would expect, there is going to be a great deal of struggle that goes along with that. Expect ore tears, blood, and death … and probably not ant Daryl / Glenn hookup scenes.
This edition of “Conan” ended up being a pretty great one; after all, it was also the edition that featured Conan taking a pretty public jab at Jay Leno on the day of his departure from the “Tonight Show.” You could say, even, that the scheduling of “The Walking Dead” cast appearance is yet another way in which he worked hard to ensure that there are plenty of viewers on this night that coincides with his former rival.
We’ve also included some bonus videos below, just in case you want to see some fun stuff for the rest of the cast.
