Jay Leno’s final ‘Tonight Show’ features Oprah Winfrey, Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Fallon cameos

Check it out -In just a matter of an hour and a half from the time that we are writing this, the Jay Leno era at NBC is going to come to a close. It is striking just how long a career he has managed to have for the network, in the midst of what was at times some pretty widespread controversy and negativity surrounding him.

What we can at least tell you is that the celebrities really all came out for Jay as he celebrated his final taping earlier. Some of the folks who made live appearances included the likes of Chris Paul, Jack Black, Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, Jim Parsons, Carol Burnett, and more alongside guest Billy Crystal. Also, there were many video messages sent in from everyone from Miley Cyrus to President Obama. Leno’s reach has been large, as has his impact on NBC.

Also, THR claims that there will be many tears from Leno as he shares a much more emotional side than what we have seen from him in the past. Typically, Leno is more a by-the-book guy; his show is so structured that he really doesn’t let anyone get to him. This will be the exception.

In the end, the biggest thing to expect from this is just an emotional night that could show you a need side to a man you thought you knew very well already. The irony? Of course, it is coming at the very end of his tenure. If only he had shown this sooner, who knows what could have happened?
