‘The Blacklist’ spoilers: A big episode ahead for Ressler

You’ve likely heard the various criticisms a dozen or so times over at this point when it comes to “The Blacklist”: The other agents not named Elizabeth Keen are not even remotely interesting. Most of the reason for that is just that until recently, the show hasn’t exactly done a whole lot to make you excited about what is going to be coming up.

Luckily, the upcoming 15th episode of the season is going to be one that puts Diego Klattenhoff’s character of Ressler in the spotlight. According to TVLine, the show is currently casting Mako Tanida, a Yakuza crime boss who has somehow broken out of jail after being sentenced to life seven times over. Clearly, someone really wants to make sure that this guy rots.

Also, the show is looking for someone to play Bobby Jonica, a man who has a deep connection to Ressler thanks to their history working together. The two parties meet up again at a wake, and try to team up in order to make sure that Tanida ends up back behind bars. However, as the case unfolds, Ressler may end up learning a few things about Jonica that he is not going to be particularly happy to hear. Somehow, we imagine that Reddington is going to find his way into the mix. He always does.
