‘The Biggest Loser’ trainers Bob Harper, Jillian Michaels mum on Rachel Frederickson’s weight
Almost immediately after Rachel Frederickson was named the winner of “The Biggest Loser” Tuesday night, there was a question that many longtime fans wondered: Did she go too far with her journey? We’ve seen time and time again contestants undergo complete body transformations, but hers was different. It was clear from the moment that she came out that she was a completely different person even than in her last days at the ranch, and she also posted a BMI that was classified as underweight. This made her the first contestant of any competitor in the history of the show to finish the season with such a classification.
Of course, almost everyone out there wants to know some more details on the subject … but for the time being, most are staying pretty quiet. For example, Rachel diverted talk about her workout plan during many chats today, and even two of the show’s trainers declined to discuss it. Speaking to People Magazine, a representative for Jillian Michaels had the following to say:
“Jillian Michaels will not comment on Rachel’s journey as she was not her trainer. She is celebrating the at-home win of her contestant, Tumi. Any questions about any of the other contestants on the Biggest Loser should be directed to the show’s producers.”
Both Michaels and Bob Harper have also stayed quiet on the subject on social media, saying the same thing about how all questions should be handed to the show’s producers. The man who was her trainer throughout the season in Dolvett Quince has also remained quiet.
This is going to be something that will surely have some fallout over the course of the next several weeks, and it would be interesting to see what takes place.
