‘The Following’ season 2, episode 4 preview: ‘Family Affair,’ and Kevin Bacon’s next move

Did you see the latest big twist on “The Following” coming? If so, we’ll give you a brief round of applause … and also question how in the world you managed to become so clairvoyant. This was a bizarre twist that was really hard to predict, and it sends the show careening down a very interesting direction. Ryan Hardy is once again lost and without help, and he faces an insurmountable challenge of making sense of everything that has been put before him.

Appropriately enough given the new bonds that have been revealed, the next new episode is entitled “Family Affair.” Want to know more? Then take a look below at the full synopsis:

“After the latest shocking revelation in the case, Ryan and Max attempt to put the pieces together and stay two-steps ahead of the FBI, despite Weston’s constant warnings to stay out of the way. Meanwhile, Emma becomes even closer to Mark and Luke, while Joe and Mandy meet up with a follower in search of assistance.”

The promo below also shows off a few other deadly implications that this could have for Ryan; and while we traditionally mean this as some sort of hyperbole, it is really not the case here. Things are going to get so much crazier now than they ever were before this, and that is going to be quite an interesting sight to see. Luckily, there are still many episodes ahead, and unlike many other shows, the Olympics will not be forcing the show on a break.
